The aerial mics are privileged in the field of Flamenco, it is the musician’s play, the sound of the instrument, the construction of the guitars that imposes it. A system with an aerial microphone like the J48A will therefore fit perfectly. The AirCapt microphone placed at the edge of the sound hole, at the bottom of the neck does not interfere with the play and significantly improves the allowable power in return. Removable, it does not require any intervention on the instrument, it can remain installed permanently. The musician can move, the sound does not change. The battery option 9v allows the use in symmetrical or asymmetrical mode … A version to be installed in the instrument exists, the “inside J48A”
To go further, you can opt for two aerial microphones with the 2X48 + AAPJ. For very noisy scenes, it is possible to use an auxiliary microphone like the J48C or to adapt your sound to all situations, a 2X48 + ACPJ with contact microphone + aerial combined on the same system. These models exist in “inside” version for a fixed internal installation.

The AirCapt microphone is the default microphone for a flamenco guitar in mono or stereo. It is a very small microphone that can be placed closer to the source of the sound to have more gain, less feedback and to catch less ambient noise. Particularly suited to acoustic stages, it reproduces faithfully and very naturally the sound of your instrument with precision, dynamic and allows a comfortable return levels on stage without a microphone stand. It is usually placed outside, at the edge of the sound hole, acute side, pointing upward.
Two AirCapt mics placed in the bass / treble position will bring you maximum sound power, front / back management capabilities, spatialization with bass / treble stereo, full and wide sound for acoustic configurations.

The J48A below is the best-selling of this category. Removable, this system can be powered by phantom power and provide a balanced signal with a Jack-Stereo / XLR cable. It can also with the 9v battery option, operate with a standard mono jack cable. It is then powered by the 9v battery automatically for about 500 hours of use. The battery will not discharge in the presence of phantom power.
The inside J48A is the installed version of the J48A described above. Drilling is therefore required. Same possibilities …
The 2X48 + AAPJ with its two aerial microphones is removable. The jack of the AAPJ microphone kit attaches to the bottom of the neck, the 2X48 system works on phantom power, XLR outputs, the two signals are completely separated, it is placed on the ground or can be worn on the belt.
The 2X48 + AAJ is the installed version of the 2X48 + AAPJ described above. The drilling is therefore required for the Jack.
The aerial microphone is privileged in the field of flamenco but when it is associated with a stage with strong sound levels, it becomes difficult to use it because of the feedback and the bleeding of the stage noises. In this case, the AirBag-C contact microphone can take over. On a flamenco guitar it is usually placed inside under the bridge.
The Airbag-C is a new type of contact microphone. It’s the sound of a microphone, natural and faithful, with the feedback resistance of a pickup. You can easily use it in an amp, apply effects and loops…

The J48C is a removable version to be installed on the instrument. The jack is placed on the side, at the bottom of the neck and the microphone is placed generally under the bridge. This system can be powered by phantom power and provide a balanced signal with a Jack-stereo / XLR cable. It can also work with a standard mono jack cable with the 9v battery option, it is then powered by the 9v battery automatically for about 500 hours of use. The battery does not discharge in the presence of phantom power.
Inside J48C is the installed version of the J48C described above. Drilling is therefore required. The same possibilities …
The combination of the two types of microphones is complementary for an instrument playing on electro scenes and optimizes the sound in all situations by combining power and respect of the acoustic sound of the instrument.
The contact microphone gives you the power for the front / back, high accuracy in bass and midrange, dynamics … The aerial microphone brings you the reverberations of the instrument, player details, the air, the finesse in the treble. For situations that require high levels on stage and front and to have an acoustic sound, faithful to the instrument.

The 2X48 + ACPJ is a removable system that has a contact microphone and an aerial. The ACPJ microphone jack is attached to the side at the bottom of the neck, the 2X48 system works with phantom power and 9v battery, XLR and Jack outputs, both signals completely separate with independant volume knob.
The 2X48 + ACJ is the installed version of the 2X48 + ACPJ described above. The drilling is therefore required for the Jack.
N ° 1: The J48A is the most sold in this category. An aerial microphone particularly appreciated by Flamenco guitarists on stage, it optimizes the sound and combines fidelity with the acoustics of the instrument and the advantages of an embedded system.
- The musician can move, the sound does not change.
- The sound power of the front of stage and in the monitors is optimized.
- Balanced jack output with a Jack-stereo / XLR connecting cable.
- Symmetrical connection allows the use of phantom power.
- The 9v battery option allows the use of a standard mono jack.
- The battery life is 500 hours. In the presence of phantom power it does not discharge.
- The installation is removable, without drilling or intervention on the instrument.
- The system can remain on the instrument
N°2 : The 2X48 + AAPJ, two AirCapt mics placed in the bass / treble position will bring you maximum sound power, front / back management capabilities, spatialization with bass / treble stereo, full and wide sound for acoustic configurations.
N°3 : The “inside J48A” is the installed version of the J48A described above. It therefore has the same basic functions, the 9v battery option. The drilling is required but discreet, it leaves the guitar without apparent wiring except the microphone at the edge of the sound hole.
