Pickups for Acoustic Guitar

The Ischell contact microphone particularly suitable for folk acoustic guitars. Recognized for its fidelity to the acoustics of the instrument, its resistance to feedback and its possibilities to use effects, to make clean loops. The model J48C is the most sold, removable, works on 9v battery, does not require intervention on the instrument but can remain installed permanently without hindering the putting in case. The microphone is installed inside under the bridge, so it is invisible and protected. A version to be installed in the instrument with drilling exists, the model inside J48C

To learn more, for even more naturalness and respect for acoustics, you can choose to associate an aerial microphone with the contact microphone to adapt to all situations. The 2X48 + ACPJ combines these two types of microphones on the same system. These models are available in an “inside” version for a fixed internal installation.

The aerial microphone AirCapt is generally used in addition to a contact microphone on a folk guitar. It is a very small microphone with a design studied to be placed as close as possible to the sound source, to have more gain, less feedback and limit the capture of ambient noise. Particularly suitable for acoustic training when used alone, it faithfully and very naturally reproduces the sound of your instrument with precision, dynamics and allows comfortable feedback levels on stage and in the hall. No need for a microphone stand, the musician can move without the sound change. In combination with a contact microphone, it brings fidelity, air, precision in the sound, generally reserved for the room. It is placed on the outside of the instrument, at the edge of the rosette, at the bottom of the neck, treble side, directed towards the strings.

Two aerial microphones AirCapt placed in bass and treble opposition will bring you the maximum acoustic power, management possibilities on stage and in the room, spatialization with a bass and treble stereo, a full and wide sound for configurations and sets of acoustic musicians.
